There is a circle of musicians that gather in Washington Square Park on warm, sunny days. Their talents vary widely. Some of them play guitar quite well. Some not so well. Others struggle just to keep beat with the tambourine. But everyone has a great time– especially when the sun is shining. I normally drop in for a song or two. I become part of the group, dance with the music, and make encouraging eye contact with the other members. Even without an instrument, I feel that I outrank some of the weaker tambourine players.
Hi tumblr, hi twitter, hi friends who follow, hi strangers who linger
It’s time to get serious, time to walk, from ideas to words to actions & love.
I’ve been dormant for a while, learning & on pause
analyzing, thinking about what and if to create at all!
however, time is ticking, opportunities don’t stop,
I might still be crawling, but I’m right there on the walk.
The path might be perplexing, confusing every step in
But I might think it’s worth it, yeah I can act beyond the blur.
I can put the light in this obscure vague tunnel.
I can put the tunes in this abstract model.
I want to share, listen, create and enjoy
It’s time to take it seriously, or just not act at all
